Online psychotherapy for gentle, big-hearted humans in Santa Barbara and across California.

Hello and welcome to my therapy practice. You are likely here because you are looking for help, either for yourself or a loved one. I am honored to be part of that journey. My aim is to support you as you move toward increased healing and wholeness in your life.

I take a collaborative, practical, and compassionate approach and empower you to recognize and utilize your strengths as a means of moving through fear, sadness, and insecurities.

While I focus primarily on Gen Z and Millennial women in their 20s and 30s, my practice is open to all ages, cultures, genders, and sexualities. If you feel that I may be a good fit for you as your counselor, contact me and we can talk about what you are going through and see if we’re a fit. I welcome the opportunity to support you in creating new, healthier, more productive ways of living, and ultimately, help you achieve increased peace and connection both with yourself and others (read more).

What is an LMFT?

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation is a bit of a misnomer. Although we have extensive training in marriage counseling and family therapy, we are also intensively trained in other forms of therapy such as individual counseling and group therapy. We assess, diagnose, and treat clients so they can achieve more satisfying and productive lives and relationships. LMFTs are psychotherapists licensed by the State. Requirements for CA licensure include a related doctoral or two/three year master's degree, passage of two comprehensive exams, and at least 3,000 hours of supervised experience as a psychotherapist. My LMFT license is #99393.

Tiana Leeds, LMFT has been featured in mindbodygreen, Medium, Glam, Psych2Go, the Art of Healing, and on the Flourishing Therapreneur Podcast
